Learning beyond the textbook

From theme days in Pre-Primary to mock parliaments in Class XII, every stage at G3 has its own way of learning by doing.

Pre-Primary children at an activity

Pre-Primary Section (PPS)

Where every day is an adventure

In our Pre-Primary Section, learning doesn’t begin with a textbook. It begins with wonder.

Our little learners climb, splash, sculpt, sing, sow seeds and ask a thousand questions a day. Through experiential learning, children touch, taste, build and discover, so concepts become memories instead of memorised lines.

Theme Days

Theme Days turn the campus into a living storybook. One morning the classroom is a bustling vegetable market, and the next it’s a fire station, a rainforest or a space mission. Children dress up, role-play and explore, and in doing so they learn language, numbers and values without noticing they’re learning.

Colour Months

Colour Months bathe the school in one shade at a time. Red month brings apples, ladybirds and crimson art. Yellow month brings sunflowers, sunshine songs and golden crafts. Children learn to recognise, name, compare and create while celebrating the colours around them.

What your child gains

  • Confidence to speak, share and express themselves
  • Sharper fine and gross motor skills
  • Early literacy and numeracy built on joy, not pressure
  • Curiosity that lasts a lifetime
  • Friendships, empathy and a love for coming to school

Here, every child doesn’t just attend school. They fall in love with learning.

Students working on a craft project

SUPW · Classes 1–5

Little hands. Big skills. Brighter futures.

Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) gives young learners something a screen cannot: the satisfaction of making, growing and contributing with their own hands.

From paper crafts, clay modelling and fabric work to gardening, recycling projects and community-linked activities, children learn by doing. Every finished project is a small victory that builds pride and self-belief.

Key benefits

  1. Fine motor and creative development

Cutting, folding, weaving, stitching and moulding strengthen hand-eye coordination and nurture imagination, laying the groundwork for neat handwriting and clear thinking.

  2. Dignity of labour

Children learn early that all work has value. They respect effort, tools, materials and the people who work around them.

  3. Patience, focus and perseverance

A craft or a seedling can’t be hurried. Children learn to plan, persist and finish what they start.

  4. Teamwork and sharing

Group projects teach cooperation, turn-taking and appreciating different strengths.

  5. Environmental awareness

Composting, planting and “best out of waste” projects show children how small actions protect our planet.

  6. Problem-solving and independence

When a design doesn’t work, children try again. They learn to experiment, adapt and trust their own ability.

  7. Social responsibility

Through simple community-minded activities, children learn that being useful to others is one of life’s greatest joys.

  8. Joy and confidence

Holding up something they made themselves is a feeling no worksheet can match.

SUPW doesn’t just fill the timetable. It shapes capable, kind and resourceful children who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Students on a hands-on project

Kaushal Bodh · Classes 6–8

Skills for tomorrow, starting today

Under CBSE’s skill-education framework, Kaushal Bodh introduces middle-school students to the real world of work, creativity and technology. It sits alongside academics and brings learning to life.

Why it matters

Learning by doing

Hands-on, project-based tasks replace passive memorisation, so students understand how and why, not just what.

Early career awareness

Students explore a range of fields and vocations, and begin to see where their interests might lead.

Future-ready skills

Communication, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and digital literacy grow with every module.

Dignity of all work

Students learn to value both skilled and professional pursuits.

Confidence and independence

Making real things and solving real problems builds self-belief that carries into every subject.

Smooth bridge to senior school

The exposure gained here helps students choose their subjects and streams in Classes 9 and 11 with clarity.

With Kaushal Bodh, students don’t just prepare for exams. They prepare for life.

Clubs & Societies · Classes 9–10

Find your passion. Build your future.

Class 9 and 10 are a time of discovery. Our clubs give every student a stage, a studio or a startup table to explore who they are becoming.

The Entrepreneur Club

Students brainstorm ideas, pitch products, manage mock budgets and run real mini-ventures. They learn leadership, negotiation, risk-taking and financial thinking. This is where tomorrow’s founders get their first taste of the boardroom.

Canvas (Art Club)

A space for painters, sketchers, designers and dreamers. Through exhibitions, collaborative murals and creative workshops, students sharpen their eye, express their ideas and discover the power of visual storytelling.

Melodic Guild (Music Club)

For singers, instrumentalists and composers. Students perform, collaborate and develop rhythm, discipline and stage presence. Music builds focus, emotional intelligence and the confidence to be heard.

Heritage Club

Students explore India’s art, architecture, traditions, folklore and history through heritage walks, research projects and cultural showcases. They gain pride in their roots, and the awareness to preserve them.

Cognitive Society

A club for curious minds. Puzzles, logic challenges, debates, strategy games and brain-teasers train analytical thinking, memory and reasoning. It’s a gym for the mind.

What every student gains

  • Real-world experiences beyond the classroom
  • Leadership, teamwork and communication skills
  • Stronger confidence and stage presence
  • Time management and responsibility
  • A richer profile for higher education and beyond
  • Friendships built on shared passions
Senior students at a debate

Senior Secondary · Classes 11–12

Lead. Debate. Compete. Succeed.

Senior school is where ambition meets opportunity. We prepare students for the exam hall and also for the world beyond it.

Beyond the classroom

Mock Parliaments

Students step into the roles of ministers, members and speakers, learning how democracy works and how to argue, negotiate and lead.

Debates and Public Speaking

Students learn to build an argument, defend a position and speak with poise and persuasion.

Fests

Cultural, literary, scientific and technological festivals give students the chance to organise, perform and manage large events. They gain real leadership experience along the way.

Quizzes

Inter-house and inter-school competitions sharpen general awareness, speed and nerve.

The result: academically strong, articulate, confident young adults, ready for university and ready for leadership.
